La Festa!

La Festa is a celebration of Italian culture that takes place on the second Sunday, of August, annually, from 11 AM to 4 PM, at Memory Square Park, 801 Jefferson and is open to the public. The Louisville Society of Italian Americans has held this event every year since 1988 with all of the people of the community and surrounding areas. Traditional Italian food is served from a variety of vendors, tickets are sold all day for prizes at the end of the day (winners need not be present at the drawing) ,musical entertainment is provided, a bocci tournament, activities for kids and the popular water balloon toss for one and all. The scholarship winners will be recognized and the club honors an individual or group of Italian heritage. All proceeds from this event are for our scholarship awards.
