1st Grade Teacher, Hannah Barnes
Hi, my name is Hannah Barnes. I teach first grade here at St. Louis Catholic School. This is my ninth year of teaching and my seventh year here at St. Louis. I earned my Master of Arts from Lesley University in Education & Curriculum, my Bachelor of Arts in Special Education and my Elementary Education Licensure through the University of Northern Colorado.
My passion is teaching and I look forward to coming to St. Louis every day. I love to see my students learn, build confidence, and take responsibility so they can be successful in their future. I believe in a learning environment in which students feel comfortable to be themselves and where expectations and rules are consistent and clear.
I also believe that all children can and will learn. Children learn through many different learning styles, and it is very important to me that I teach using many different methods to reach all children. I let children know that I want them to do their personal best.
