About Us

Even more than our 110 years of academic excellence, Saint Louis Catholic School is most proud to have served parents who recognize that education is ultimately about much more than test scores. At our core we are a community of teachers, parents, and administrators, all striving to form our children with the guidance of God.

Students Excel

Our students our devoted to doing their best in the classroom. Our teachers monitor student progress and participate in the STAR assessments which are used across the Archdiocese. Additionally, we use the Iowa Test of Basic Skills and AimsWeb probes to monitor student progress. Together, this formal assessment data is used with classroom teacher data to fully evaluate a student’s progress. Teachers meet regularly to review student data and student needs, and to make plans to support each student. We work with parents to form partnerships for success.

Affordable Private Education

St. Louis K-8 offers tuition assistance, scholarships, and has one of the lowest tuition rates in Boulder County.  Parents, the primary educators of their children, have a right to choose the best education for their children.  St. Louis School, along with our supporting parishes and private donors, annually reduces your tuition investment and supports your decision to seek a Catholic education.  Financially, we work with all families desiring the St. Louis experience!

“Young people are a valued treasure and the future leaders of our Church. It is the responsibility of the entire Catholic community—bishops, priests, deacons, religious, and laity—to continue to strive towards the goal of making our Catholic elementary and secondary schools available, accessible, and affordable to all Catholic parents and their children, including those who are poor and middle class. All Catholics must join together in efforts to ensure that Catholic schools have administrators and teachers who are prepared to provide an exceptional educational experience for young people—one that is both truly Catholic and of the highest academic quality.”US Conference of Catholic Bishops

Principal's Message

St. Louis is an outstanding Catholic school that has been nestled in the heart of Louisville, Colorado for over 110 years! We have educated thousands of students over the years and take great pride in all that we do. St. Louis has a solid Catholic identity, high academic standards, and a great community spirit.

We believe that each and every child is a blessing! Our class sizes are small affording us the opportunity to know our children, and partner with parents to form our students as Disciples of Christ. Our team of teachers work together to do everything possible to help our students reach their full potential. We have a strong extracurricular program, an active PTO, hot lunch service, and before and after school care available.

You are always welcome at St. Louis! Come and experience the Crusader spirit and see why our school is where you want your children to learn and grow! Call for a tour or for further information. I look forward to working with you and your children. Peace-Dana Ellis, Principal
