My name is Jessica Bennett and I am new to St. Louis School this year. I have been teaching at St. Louis in Englewood and have been with the Archdiocese of Denver for nine years. I am very familiar with the Archdiocesan curriculum and integrate plenty of reading, writing and math workshops into my program. I like to blend individual, group and whole class instruction into the daily schedule. I also like to develop and implement cross-curricular units based on curriculum guidelines.
I am a trained mentor and have also conducted teacher inservices in Expeditionary Learning. I have worked with the Accelerated Reading Program, Lexia Reading, Wilson Foundations Literacy, and various specialized math programs.
One of my hopes as an educator is to instill a love of learning in my students, as I share my own passion for learning with them. I believe I am a compassionate, strong, and dedicated teacher and I am excited about working with your children. I am a parishioner at Holy Trinity and live in Westminster. I am excited to bring my strengths of love and learning to St. Louis School and look forward to an exciting year!
