Hello, my name is Jessica Bennett and I am the Kindergarten teacher here at St. Louis. I have taught in the Archdiocese of Denver Catholic School System for over a decade teaching Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 3rd grade. I am very familiar with the AOD curriculum integrating religion, reading, writing, and math into all areas of study. My classroom is a blend of whole group, small group, and individual instruction in order to meet the various needs of my students.
I am a trained mentor and have also conducted teacher inservices in Expeditionary Learning. I have worked with the STAR 360, Accelerated Reading Program, Lexia Reading, Wilson Fundations Literacy, and various specialized math programs.
One of my hopes as an educator is to instill a love of learning in my students, as I share my own passion for learning with them. I know that all students can and do learn given the correct tools and support. I believe I am a compassionate, strong, and dedicated teacher and I am excited about working with your children.
I am married with one grown daughter. I am a parishioner at Holy Trinity and live in Westminster. I am excited to bring my strengths of love and learning to St. Louis School and look forward to another exciting year of Kindergarten!
